With every passing day it emerges that the suffering of so many helpless, deprived women and children,aged ,and not so well off ordinary citizens are caught up in a web of corrupt politics. This corruption goes back decades, to the independance of a county that had suffered under the heel of colonisation, and believed that the light of freedom was at last being lit.
As it turned out history shows that those who took power
began to slice up the country, its assets and wealth to enhance their own bank balances.
Toil and tribulation followed but slowly the peoples reconciled their situation and began to row the same boat
to steer Kenya to a safe harbour..and the world applauded..
and other African Nations took faith from what they saw.
And then comes the cry "Rigged Elections".
Within days a country became a raging bonfire, thousands displaced, hundreds killed, homes and property destroyed or stolen...WHY?
This was no flash in the pan of emotion.
This was an orchestrated, brainwashing excercise instigated by the faceless ones..leaders,MP"s, tribal elders and so on...they used their power and leadership(?)
and money to promote this unrest in order to protect their ill gotten gains and to further them.
ok..WONDERFULL WORDS EMERGED FROM THE MOUTHS OF some of these learned people as they settled into the background
of government posts to prepare for battle.
Then came the forced coalition..world opinion and UN
intervention saw to that..but what came next?
A deliberate fencing match that put back the naming and set up of this new coalition by weeks..again to gain time to set up the elements of corruption.
And so eventually, amid high inflation,unemployment, food shortages,malnutrition,starvation,sickness,lackof public services etc, they condecend to agree to disagree and set up a 42 post cabinet????????
The old boys political network was now complete..the same clowns and ringmaster..the same old tune..more highly paid
Ministers God himself could not have created.
A day later Nairobi erupts overnight, due to Mungiki criminals emerging from the shadows to promote even more fear and Mayhem.
Woman on the way to work being accosted if they wore trousers..people dodging stones, walking through tear gas,
bullets whining through the air above and around them..
Now why did the new government send heavy..really heavy troops and police into the kiberia shanty towns and begin rounding these thugs up.
Why have these louts been allowed to continue this way for years? fingers in every shady deal in the country..blackmail,threats,intimidation against people and property.
Who is behind them?..who backs there acts with hard cash?
The corrupt, bent business men and MPs..thats who.
They are known as are the faces and home addresses of the Mungiki..so why no action?
Why no removal from office?
Why no concerted show of strength to dethrone the Mungi
empire?
Simple answer is THE OLD BOYS POLITICAL NETWORK is at work. Therein lies the weakness of Kenya and the reason for its problems.
There will not be advancement for all blah, blah untill the old guard are removed totally from the political scene.
There will be no peace untill Mungiki are removed and destroyed instead of allowing them to be the carbuncle thats seen but not treated.
May the day of reckoning come sooner than later..though its hardly likely..in order that ordinary,wonderful, hardworking and happy Kenyans can lift themselves above the filth of corruption and emerge at last with the promised land.
Old pals act..take off the grease paint.. stop the acting
your days in vaudaville will come to an end..
As will your rape of this countries wealth.
